Track Google Adsesnse Ads For Free
If you are looking for a free Google Adsense tracking tool, look no further. I have not seen such easier way before to track Adsesne ads. I will dicuss more than one possible free ways to track your adsense ads in this article. None of these trick are against Google Adsense Policy or Adsense TOS. So, feel free to add them to your blog.
If you are making thousands of dollar from Adsense every month than this might not be recommended for you. But if you are making few hundreds from Adsense and you are not willing to pay for a commercial script then read on.
The first Adsense tracking system using Google Analytics solution was created by Shawn (the founder of Digital Point). Then many people enhanced and improved this system to use with other advertisement like Yahoo Publishers Network (YPN) and so on. I will not republish the code here but you can visit the above URL and install the script in your website or blog. By the way Darren Rowse from Problogger.net is using this script in his website. Take a look at this HTML code at the very bottom (just below the Site meter code).
The second solution is an enhanced of modified version of the previous one which was put together by Aron Wall from SEO Book where he posted a complete article on how to use this Google Analytics to track Google Adsense Ads. For demo purpose, i used this tracking system and it worked for me. Here are some screenshots.

Now, this data collection process may take 24-48 hours (at the beginning). Be patience and do not delete the code if you don’t see instant results.
Bloggers who are using free blogging platform like blogspot or bloglines, you can use this tools too. It is not necessary to have the javascript on your own server. As long as your blog load the java from any remote server, the script will collect informations. Being said so, you can use the script directly from Aron’s website (http://www.seobook.com/analytics/astrack.js).
If you interested i can even upload the script on my server. My servers is up 99.99% time (sticking with these guys for more than 2 years or so). So, all you have to do is add a line to your blog to run the javascript (the exact way you add Google analytics script code to your free blogspot or bloglines blog).
