| Once your blog is up, you need blog readers or web traffic. It’s not always easy to get visitors in a newly opened web site or blog. - Write comments on a busy blog where you will get free direct link to your blog. Some of them use “nofollow” attribute but it will not stop human visitors to visit your blog.
- If you have a busy site of your own or your friend/s, try to add a link on the link resources section. Make sure the website is somewhat related to your blog content. If it’s an online gambling web site and your blog is about photography, it’s way off.
- Another smart way to get good amount of traffic is by posting in forums. If you participate in a forum where you have change to add a link signature, use your new website or blog link.
- Submit your blog or website to search engines (Google, Yahoo!, MSN) and directory (dmoz, yahoo directory). There is no guarantee that they will accept your listing but it’s completely worth it to give it a try.
- Last but not the least use Google Adwords to bring paid traffic.
You do not have to pay until someone click on your ad. This is one of the effective and cheap way to bring traffic to your blog or web site.
