Google And Paid Text Link Ads TLA
Google spokespersons always said that Google will not tolerate this strategy of getting better Google PageRank by buying text link ads (TLA) from higher pagerank websites. Recently there are many rumors or i should said clear indication by Google that Google will stick to their strict policy of link buying.
“Links are an important signal in our PageRank calculations, as they tend to indicate when someone has found a page useful. Links that are purchased are great for advertising and traffic purposes, but aren’t useful for PageRank calculations. Buying or selling links to manipulate results and deceive search engines violates our guidelines.”

Matt Cutts of Google mentioned few ways to prevent this link buying hype in April in his personal blog. He said anyone who notice a paid listing on any website can report them to Google via Google Webmaster Central authenticated spam reporting form or Google’s unauthenticated spam reporting form.
Google also said that if you are selling paid text link use rel=”nofollow” attribute or use robots.txt to forbid spiders to go to to that ad publishing page.
This is very hot topics right now in search engines world and of course those big link brokers websites. I should have mentioned in my previous post on How to get traffic for website that Google’s biggest mistake was to introduce pagerank and now they are paying for it. But i am 100% sure that all those Googlers will come up with new algorithm to trace these paid text link ads.
